Membership of the choir is open to anyone who can hold a tune! There are no auditions. All are welcome and, as an incentive for people who have never sung with us before, we offer the first term free, so that new members can take their time discovering whether they like us and what we do.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings, from 7.30 pm to 9.40 pm, with a break for refreshments. After the Christmas and Easter concerts we take a break for a week or two before starting rehearsals for the next concert. There are no rehearsals after our Summer concert until our season starts again in the first or second week of September.

From September 2010 our subscription is £180 per year (£150 concessionary rate). This can be paid by the term (£60/£50), but must be paid by the third week of each term. If you pay for the year in September, the fee will be reduced by 5%. No one may sing at concerts without having paid their subscription (except for new members, as above). Subscriptions are payable for the whole year whether you take part in concerts or not. A reduction of £5 will be made for terms when you do not attend rehearsals. The cost of refreshments is included in the fee. Subscriptions are reviewed annually.
